ACTIVITIES OF THE PLACEMENT SECTION
The placement section has been organizing several useful activities for the benefit of the students. The details of the activities are as follows:
lletters have been sent to various industries covering the entire country to invite them to conduct campus/factory interviews.
The following personality development programmes are conducted for the
benefit of the final year students of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Production Engineering, Textile, Man Made Fibre Technology Computer
Engineering, Electronics & Communication and Information Technology :
An Entrepreneurship Development Programme is organized for the
benefit of the final year students of all branches to promote
self-employment. Well-experienced resource persons of various
areas of EDP are invited to conduct the Programme.
Bio-Data of the all successful candidates are compiled and
recorded. A copy of the same is forwarded to the Board of
Apprenticeship training (Southern Region), Chennai.
In order to strengthen various skills and knowledge of the
students, a formal written feed back from the
representatives of the industries visiting us for campus
interviews. This feedback is communicated to the department
concerned in order to ensure the corrective action.

The campus interviews are held in the college and the overall
percentage of the placement is 80%. The following department has
the campus interviews and the address of the companies is
given in the respective departments.
