Mandate

Thiagarajar Polytechnic College is to offer technician-level diploma
and post diploma programs in engineering and technology education to
candidates selected according to state prescribed
norms, using an autonomously developed curriculum and evaluation
system to meet the needs of industry.

The Institution is aided by Government
and is expected to fulfill all Government rules and regulations. It
is administered by a Governing Council and has the responsibility of
uplifting the community by offering training, consultancy and other
related services.
Mission

To offer diploma and post-diploma
courses and part-time courses according to the exact needs of the
industry, business and community. To foster the development of
healthy personality and character of our students and the build-up
of the professional competence of our staff through training in all
areas including management and pedagogical.

through flexible modes of delivery including formal, non-formal,
sandwich and competency-based training.
