The Textile Technology department of the polytechnic has one of
the best set of laboratories in Tamilnadu. Each of the
laboratories is very well laid out and is equipped with a wide
range of textile machinery and equipment. All the machinery and
equipment in the laboratories are in excellent working
condition. The more recent machinery includes:

The main thrust of the program is on two major areas: Spinning
and Weaving.
